GPS Accuracy

Understanding Accuracy (and its Limitations)

The location technologies used by this type of watch are generally:

  • GPS: approximate accuracy of 5 to 15 m (often outdoors).
  • Wi-Fi: approximate accuracy of 50 to 200 m.
  • LBS (cellular triangulation): approximate accuracy of 200 m to 5 km.

GPS may require clear sky visibility to pick up enough satellites. Wi-Fi can help indoors, but depends on databases that can sometimes be inaccurate, which may lead to incorrect location (this is not necessarily a watch defect).

Tip: for a reliable first GPS fix, test it outdoors (clear sky) for 1 to 2 minutes.

Terms of Sale

Satisfaction Guarantee (15 days)

We offer a 15-day satisfaction guarantee. If, within 15 days of your order, your experience does not meet your expectations, please write to us to request a refund.

Refund Policy (example — to be adjusted for Veliokid):

  • Upon request, a return label can be sent via email.
  • You must return all accessories and packaging in good condition.
  • Shipping and return fees may be deducted from the refund.
  • Handling fees may apply.
  • The first month of the plan (data) may be non-refundable if activation fees apply.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions (monthly/annually) are generally non-refundable. In case of cancellation, it may be effective immediately and the subscription will not be renewed on the scheduled date. It is often recommended to request cancellation at the end of the current period.

Warranty (e.g., 6 months, manufacturer)

Each product may benefit from a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase/receipt. It generally covers defects related to electronic components, but not normal wear and tear, damage, misuse, or incidents (e.g., broken screen, damaged/lost strap).

The watch may be water-resistant, but not completely waterproof: avoid prolonged immersion.

Depending on the situation, coverage may be provided through repair or replacement with a similar product, and some shipping costs may be borne by the customer.

Security & Responsibility

Important Guidelines

IMPORTANT: A GPS watch or GPS tracker must under no circumstances replace adult supervision. Do not rely solely on the device to locate a child or a person under your responsibility.

Before purchasing and using, ensure that the areas of use are covered by a compatible cellular network (network type, signal strength, etc.). Veliokid cannot guarantee coverage, type, or signal quality in a given location.

Veliokid disclaims all responsibility in case of accident, damage, loss, injury, disappearance or death occurring during the use of its products and services.
